“Creating a new theory is not like destroying an old barn and erecting a skyscraper. It is rather like climbing a mountain and gaining new and wider views.” -Albert Einstein

Let's experience and prove Einstein's statement above by going on a hike. One of the most recommended places to hike is the most famous Teapot Mountain. It is located around 45 km away from Taipei's main station. Out of the several ways to reach the hiking spot; one can easily take a public bus to reach the gold museum and then start your hike, or if you own a scooter or car, you can directly reach the entrance of the hiking trail. There are several support ropes on the trails to assist you in climbing and also you need to go through some tight spaces to reach the peak. Despite that, the path to Teapot Peak is well-maintained, and the signs and directions are easily readable. There are pagoda pit stops where you can take some breaks in between your journey up the hill. The trail is intermediate, so even children and the elderly can enjoy a day out!! Then what are you waiting for? Pack your bags, put on the hiking boots and prove Einstein's statement. Spectacular views await you from the summit.
